Steve
Robertson, Founder/CEO of the ‘Project Peace on Earth’ confirms that recording
artist/TV personality Zarah will be performing live at the first-time approved
worldwide concert, which will be held in Bethlehem on Christmas Day – December
25th, 2011. She was selected along with only a handful of
artists to deliver a “Global Musical Prayer for Peace” and
original songs from her upcoming album.
Zarah
is the host of the popular “B InTune TV” (TV series) for teens and their
music and musician who performed with famous rock bands like the Goo Goo Dolls
in the past. Conveying meaningful and relative subjects through her songs,
Zarah wrote an album back in 2008 and soft-launched the following year. Since
then, the singer-songwriter has been working to finish her debut album that is
yet to release. Meanwhile, she looks ahead to participating to this special
event and feels very proud to have been specially selected. “It’s about
recognizing of what is around us and furthering that step towards living a
peaceful world for all of us. Not everyone gets to go – so I
am deeply honored to be a part of it”, she explains.
‘Project
Peace on Earth’ concert will be broadcasted in 80 million homes worldwide from
the Manger Square in Bethlehem and supported by the Palestinian government and
the United Nations (UN) to promote peace globally. Advisory Committees of this
movement includes: film Director James Cameron, Award-winning producer Marc
Scarpa and Live Nation producer and Tour Manager Brian Thomas.
With
powerful messages from artists like Zarah, healing prayers from every
participant and worldwide presses in Bethlehem this Christmas – it does look
like; there will be 'Peace on Earth' coming.
